Torrent sites are 100% illegal and have faced prosecution many times.

Torrent clients such as bittorent are not illegal at all. If you use torrent to download non commercial suff it is totally legal.

But the problem occurs when you try to download commercial stuff without any charge for free which is called Piracy.

Most of the files that you download might contain viruses as hackers and other people try to spread their virus or worm or malware through those networks which share files like torrents.

I totally disagree that it is difficult for a virus to sneak into a torrent file. I have seen many scenarios where a user downloads a torrent file and got attacked by the virus.When a torrent or other type of file is getting more difficult for hackers and virus distributors to break into they will find a loop hole in it one way or the other.

I personally do not support piracy or break copyright laws. Any one who directly exchange the material they wish, thus i recommend you to use your discretion when downloading music, movies, games and software files. Sharing is not illegal as long as you obey all relevant copyright laws. For that reason, the due observance with author rights is also a responsibility of users.

If you are a good citizen you will respect the rights of others and you wont violate the law. i sincerely request to abide the laws to your full extent.

This is proably one of the best uTorrent “speed-up” videos you can watch on YouTube. (Possibly, lol). Before I set my settings to the ones in the video I was downloading at 10/kbs a second! Now I’m downloading at an average of 410/kbs a second! This is %100 real and should work for everyone! Did you know? Did you know that most of your download speed comes from WHERE you download the torrent from and not the settings? The settings do have a part in it but not as much as where you download the torrent from. I recommend you download all your torrents from: www.isohunt.com. Ever since I downloaded the new version 3.0, my torrents have become so slow in downloading…NOT even half as fast as it used to be.

What should I do?

Back when it was only ver. 2.2 my downloading speed could reach up to 400+ mb per-seconds total, now it won’t even reach 200…this “upgrade” has downgraded my utorrent…pls help!

try choosing another port and port forwarding it, I heard that speeds up your torrents considerably….

Also if that didn’t work, you can always uninstall it and reinstall the older version, you won’t lose anything, its just the look that is different!
